A lot is being done on the religious front, but very little on issues related to education and socio-economic development and growth of Muslims.Aaghaz Foundation is a movement or collection of community resources to eradicate this problem.

Survey Result - Amberganj School Area (August 6, 2006)

AVIZ Convent School, Amberganj Area 58 Children

Located in one of the oldest area of the city, this school had impressed the members of Aaghaz in terms of quality of school personnel present in the school, and their commitment towards the cause of the community. Over 58 children were interviewed along with their parents, and most of the cases forwarded by the school to us were found to be genuine. In fact, our local area head is still verifying the facts on some cases. The average tuition fees per child is Rs. 125/- per month. Aaghaz is yet to find a sponsor for these cases. Hence we request our members to come out and adopt the fees of these future ambassadors of our community.

Aaghaz Needs Your Help (August 1, 2006)

Unable to meet the expense of tuition fees of his three children - studying in Unity College, this Electro-Homeopathic practising Doctor approached one of our Aaghaz members about 15 days back. Upon conducting the survey of his children, our Aaghaz members found out that his financial conditions were even worst than what he told us Aaghaz Member earlier. Since Government did not recognize Electro-Homeopathic course (inspite over thousands of student studied and qualified to become doctors - but Govt. did not give them recognition)- hence his degree as a doctor totally became waste for him; they are not allowed to practise legally. But somehow he manages to make some money by running a small clinic in the vicnity of his house barely earning Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 p.m.

The total fees of his 3 schools children is Rs. 1,025 per month, out of which he can manage to pay Rs. 525/- p.m, for remainder of Rs. 500/- p.m. he has approached Aaghaz Foundation. We request our respected members to divert as much as their Zaka'at funds through Aaghaz Foundation.

Just 24 hours back Aaghaz had emailed all it's members regarding this case of 2nd year Engineering child, and Alhamdullah, not even 24 hours had passed, we had received a full commitment of Rs. 35,000/- from a member based in Dubai. We feel very proud to have such members of Aaghaz who are as far as away in U.S, Canada, Singapore, and Middle East - and still they care about the problems associated with the community in their hometown
